Applying to graduate school is a process that requires you to gather many materials—letters of recommendation, test scores, and transcripts from each college or university you attended. Frequently, you are also asked to submit a CV, a statement of purpose describing your present career goals, and a writing sample.
In IU's College of Arts and Sciences, each department determines its own application requirements and deadlines. It is a good idea to prepare in advance by reviewing the How to Apply page on your prospective program's website to be sure you satisfy all aspects of the application process.
If you have questions about a program or its application process, reach out to the director of graduate studies. You can find contact information on department and program websites.
